CEO, Founder of Restore, LLC, is a mom, mema, and professional registered nurse with over 20 years of healthcare experience. Veronica is a compassionate community leader with an affinity for serving others. Her faith and servant spirit is palpable as she serves in many roles including operating as Executive Director for non-profit organizations. In memory of her mom, “Mama Burks Foundation'' and “Elevated Excellence” were founded. These organizations help provide the children of Chicago public schools with technology and tools to succeed and housing support to promote independence for the mentally disabled. Veronica operates with excellence and is focused on excellent customer service and improving outcomes.  

 

Over the last several years Veronica noticed an increased number of women suffering from unnecessary complications as a result of having surgery. This led Veronica to partner with local surgeons and clients to understand their challenges. This research led to the design of Restore Recover House. Having worked in a variety of care settings and suffered from postoperative complications following a breast lift, Veronica possesses a very unique insight and keen understanding of the importance of proper aftercare. Her professional and personal journey allowed her to identify with women undergoing cosmetic surgery and wanted to create not only a safe place to HEAL but a sisterhood of support.
